Our Relationship with McDonald's

Our founding and forever partner since 1974!

From the moment the doors opened at the first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia, PA, the McDonald’s owners/operators, suppliers, employees, and customers have called our mission their own.

Locally, Idaho and Eastern Oregon McDonald’s owners/operators and their customers stand by our mission in a big way. Every donation matters. Your pennies add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to help local families at Ronald McDonald House Idaho. 

Although McDonald’s is our largest corporate partner, Ronald McDonald House Idaho is a nonprofit 501c(3) corporation.

Ronald McDonald House Idaho relies on the support of our entire community to help achieve our goals. While our friends at McDonald’s go above and beyond in their support, in a typical year, the majority of our funds come from the local community and other corporate partners.

We greatly value donations and in-kind services from all our supporters.

Round-Up

Funds raised through McDonald’s Round-Up for Ronald McDonald House campaign directly supports the of Idaho House, Family Room, and Hospitality Carts—helping families stay close when their children are receiving medical care. These Round-Up donations help cover 30% of the yearly costs to operate Ronald McDonald House Idaho, and help provide meals, housing, transportation and a sense of comfort and belonging for our families.
