Snacks From the Heart—House

When a family is facing one of the hardest moments of their lives, having snacks readily available can make a meaningful difference. Make a tasty treat and help stock our House with grab-and-go snacks and homemade goodies that provide families with a little comfort and convenience during their stay.

By volunteering to make snacks, you help ensure families can grab something to eat whenever they need it—so they can focus on what matters most: their ill or injured child.

Snack shifts are available daily, 10:00 am-12:00 pm (1-4 people) OR 1:00 pm-3:00 pm (1-4 people). Make a delicious savory or sweet treat. Savory treats might include veggie cups with hummus or ranch dip, savory quiche, sandwich pinwheels, stuffed celery sticks, chex mix, trail mix, or savory scones. Sweet treats might be brownies, cupcakes, muffins, tarts, quickbreads, cookies, or rice krispy treats.

All food must be prepared in our House or in a commercial kitchen.

Can't volunteer your time? You can still make a difference. Every contribution goes a long way in making our families feel cared for and supported during one of the most challenging times of their lives.
